High-Level Training
All Year-Round

Potomac Field Hockey provides high-level, year-round opportunities for athletes to accelerate their development through Travel Teams, Leagues and Skills Training.

Whether you are picking up a stick for the first time or looking to play at the next level, Potomac Field Hockey can help you achieve your goals.

All of our outdoor training is held at Philip A. Bolen Park in Leesburg, Virginia while all of our indoor training is held at Dulles Sportsplex in Sterling, Virginia.

We are proud to have the opportunity to introduce the sport to hundreds of female athletes and assist in their development!

REC PROGRAMS

Potomac Field Hockey offers a variety of Recreational Programs for girls of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re looking to pick up a stick for the first time or aiming to participate in seasonal leagues to develop and grow, we have a program for you.

EVOLUTION TRAINING

Potomac Field Hockey offers Evolution for athletes who may not be ready for the Hammers Travel Program but would like the opportunity to experience the same high-level instruction and programing.

HAMMERS TRAVEL PROGRAM

The Hammers (formerly known as Rapids) fosters year-round, intermediate thru elite level national athlete development.  Hammers is designed for the higher skilled and dedicated player who wants to get to the next level: a high school player, a high school starter or even a national level athlete. 

We provide year-round playing opportunities for U10-U19 players seeking to compete at a higher level while traveling to local, regional, and national tournaments.  Tryouts are held each season and separate evaluations will be held for those players seeking to attend national/recruiting tournaments.

Our Home, the Evergreen Sportsplex

Evergreen Sportsplex is a 44 acre, state-of-the-art facility features four fully lit over-sized bio-turf fields capable for the use of a variety of sports. We will have over 500 parking spaces to be available once all phases of the complex are complete. Employing the latest synthetic turf playing surface insures that Evergreen Sports Complex’s fields are just that– forever green. 

Utilizing the highest levels of irrigation planning allows our fields to be quick draining which means fewer rain-outs and no sloppy fields. Plus, our artificial surfaces provide a soft landing when players fall, helping reduce the chance of injury.  These fields have more inter-woven fiber and less fill; a superior product that performs more like natural grass.

We are easy to access from communities throughout all parts of Northern Virginia, DC and Western Maryland. Our complex is set conveniently in the beautiful rolling hills of Loudoun County close to a variety of amenities in downtown Leesburg and Ashburn.

Our four FIFA-certified turf fields are also under the lights, including one on the "championship" field which boasts a 24,000 square foot stadium with a main level pavilion that includes offices, pro shop, concessions, dining area and free Wi-Fi. Our upper level Sky Lounge is the perfect setting for private events as well as provides an amazing view of the fields and the complex. We also host meetings in our VIP Sky Box as well as providing a designated room for our Pro and College Scouts to evaluate our players.  

The facility also has four zip lines and a 13 element ropes course, rock climbing wall, sand volleyball court, performance training areas and is currently constructing classrooms for tutoring, SAT/ACT prep and chalk talk/film review.
